What do you mean “finding motherhood”? Didn’t motherhood find me?! I have been a mom for a little over a year now and the word motherhood is still foreign to me. Motherhood is defined not just as the state of being a mother, but as the qualities or spirit of a mother.  Mother has always been a very respectible title for someone. If you call someone mother, you are honoring them, revearing them, loving them. Now to think I am a mom, but will I ever be worthy of the title “mother”? Each day that goes by I learn a little more about my daughter and what it means to be a mother and to achieve motherhood. I search, strive, struggle, succeed and fail daily.  I hope to some day be able to find motherhood.
